Speaking about simple joys and pleasures, I am very happy to announce that one of my projects related to a scripted TV mini-series I have been working on for about two years… and counting…
… It will go in pre-production (United Kingdom) between the second-half of 2013 and the beginning of 2014!
Entirely set in London, it can be considered a paranormal thrilling in the style of Glenn Gordon Caron‘s “MEDIUM“.

Simone has passed an audition as Male Lead Voice Actor Beep! Studios in Rome.
Beep! Studios has being part of the Italian Dubbing Industry for over ten years so far and, amongst their clients, involved in the dubbing for over ten years and clients include Fox Channels Italy, Twentieh Century Fox International and National Geographic TV. Stay tuned for upcoming news!!!
Simone has been invited by DANILO DE GIROLAMO, President of the Italian Association of Dubbing Actors, to attend the daily Italian dubbing sessions of Disney Channel’s TV Hit series “Phineas and Ferb“.
The dubbing sessions, directed by DANILO DI GIROLAMO himself, are being held at ITALIA FILM STUDIOS in Rome.

LUIGI ROSCINO, a young Italian poet/writer, contacted Simone for a “one-off” recording of a short story Roscigno published through an upcoming Italian Publishing House, EdiGiò.
The short story, titled ”La banda di Caldarrosta” (“The gang of Caldarrosta”), is intended for a young audience but caught anyway Simone’s attention… and not only his…
… As a matter of fact, Roscigno’s work well deserved also a preface written by GABRIELE LA PORTA, a well-renowned Italian journalist and author as well as TV host working for the Italian Independent TV Network CINQUESTELLE TV.
Simone has been chosen again by DAF, through the London-based agency BLOKMEDIA, for a new series of institutional videos specifically developed for internal training purpose.
DAF, the greatest producer of industrial vehicles in Europe, always pursues excellence in professional training of its employes for every country in which the company is represented.
Simone, DAF’s Italian Official Voice, managed all the audio post-production process related to the recording of his voice at PLANETSOUND Recording Studios, Florence (Italy).

The Italian National Association of Dubbing Actors brings together only the most well-respected names in the Italian Dubbing Industry, representing their members both nationally and internationally and it is well renowned for the authority, gained over decades, as well as the severity applied during the selection of its members. Membership of this Association is not by subscription alone.
Unlike other related organizations, individual full membership is based on the key criteria of competency and experience and it is confirmed by examination or by verification of credentials.
Since 2004, the President of the Italian National Association of Dubbing Actors is DANILO DE GIROLAMO, one of the most prominent professionals in the Industry and Official Italian Voice of actors such as ALAN CUMMING, VINCENT GALLO, and ULRICH TUKUR amongst others.

… I needed a new challenge.
AND so here I am (again) in Italy, and headed for Rome where I hope to be able to build relationships for my professional career during the next year.
A year which already looks full of opportunities, not only for my Projects in Italy but also for “something interesting” which is under development in London… There is still a long way to go but, according to my experience, this is the most rewarding part of each challenge.
The most beautiful thing, and the one which warms my heart the most, is that I am not alone this time, like at the time when I left Italy more than six years ago in search of “Glory, Glamour & Gold” in United Kingdom.
Colleagues, collaborators and friends both in England and United States will be always at my side, as they are already now, to help me and support me with their experience and professionalism and, above all, with their true friendship.
I feel that their Strength IS my Strength in this new Chapter of my life.
