In England, Simone landed on a job as Italian Linguistic Quality Assurance Tester and started working for MICROSOFT on new releases for the Electronic Entertainment Market. After one and a half years, Simone found himself pursuing a full-time career in the Videogames Industry working as English to Italian Localizator & Translator for a newly constituted agency based in St. Neots, Cambridgeshire.
Amongst the titles he has worked on are “Prey” (3D REALM ENTERTAINMENT), “Condemned: Criminal Origins” (SEGA), “Dark Void” (CAPCOM) and “Viva Piñata” (RARE).
During the second half of 2010, Simone – who just relocated from Cambridge to London – was contacted by one of the most important English Voice-Over agencies and got an invitation to participate in an audition for the Italian Voice Dubbing of an online cartoon series, “Paddlepop-Kombatei”.
His rough and seductive voice, suitable for characterizations which demand a strong, emotional impact, got the attention of an Anglo-German Dubbing Company as well and, shortly after, Simone found himself not only involved in the post-production of “Paddlepop-Kombatei” but also being asked to perform over 30 Guest-Stars for the Italian Dubbing of “The Eleventh Hour”, a Canadian TV series produced by Alliance Atlantis Corporation Inc., the same Production Company of TV-Hits such as “Stargate-SG1”.
“The 11th Hour” is currently broadcasted in Italy on RAI 4 Channel, part of the NATIONAL ITALIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION (RAI).
Subsequently, Simone was chosen as the Italian Voice for Corporate Videos by DAF, a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in Europe, as well as the Italian Male Voice for the Official Tour Guide to Netherlands and Amsterdam by TOUR & TICKETS, a well-renowned International Tour Operator.
In the United Kingdom, he is currently part of the roster of Italian mother tongue Voice-Over Artists for agencies such as RABBIT VOCAL MANAGEMENT, MOTHER TONGUE WRITERS, FOREIGN VERSIONS LTD and companies such as VSI.
